I painted two hours this morning and then I wiped it all off!

I read that the way to become a good painter is first to paint a lot of bad paintings.  I can put a check mark by that one today.  Tried to paint a simple mug with a pear.  It was really really ugly.  So I'm going to go bake a cake.  That's creative, isn't it?

  4. Oh Virginia_ I bet is was not as bad as you think- at least you were smart enough to not post- I am working on learning that lesson:) I have heard you just have to keep painting also- you have wonderful brushstrokes, a great eye for color and can make a mean cake:) Have a great evening and start over tomorrow!

  5. Virginia, I've checked the bad painting part off
my list as well. Sometimes I find if I wipe a painting off and paint on top of it, it works out better. Don't know what that's about.

  7. I made a Brown Sugar Pound Cake. It is yummy! My grandson and son-in-law loved it. I told them that since I didn't have a good day painting, I decided to make a good dinner instead. My SIL teased me, "I hate when that happens!"
