It's dreary and rainy here today, so I had to dodge raindrops as I took this outside to take a photo.
I liked this one. I've painted these bottles once before here, but I like this one better. The perspective was more of a challenge. It actually isn't quite finished. I didn't put the words on the label because I was afraid I'd mess it up! So when it's really dry, I'll go back and try to finish the label. Kim Rempel painted wine bottles too, and I like how she handled the label.
Nice job with the glass, Virginia! I especially like the one in the front. Wll done!
ReplyDeleteReally nice... I love the angle and the arrangement of the bottles... good job !
ReplyDeleteGreat job- love the reflections and the composition!
ReplyDeleteLove the perspective on this too. Really nice work with the glass - I know how hard that is to get right!
you are correct...that is an interesting angle...you did a good job of it
ReplyDeleteThis is a difficult subject to draw accurately. You did a really nice job! I especially like the way the burgundy top of the front bottle comes forward in space toward the viewer. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteVery nice work on the glass and reflections Virginia. You chose a difficult perspective but you've handled it well. Thanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely this is a difficult perspective to work upon but you handled it beautifully.I loved the darker bottle and also the different greens used.Great work Virginia!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on these bottles. Tried to comment yesterday but there was a glitch. You did a great job with a tough angle.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mom, for giving me this painting. I love it.
