La lumière sur vos fruits et l'ombre sont bien travaillés. J'aime votre assiduité.Bisous
You keep getting better, Virginia. Sorry if I've said that to you before but every time I come to your blog, that's the first thing I think!! LOVING the softer edges and light to shadow transitions. The painting before this has a wonderful feeling too-- the purple in the shadows makes it all the more interesting!!
I like the direction of this painting, Virginia! Lovely reflections in the shadows, too!
Diane, I LOVE that you think I'm getting better! I don't mind if you repeat yourself! It's a long process and sometimes discouraging. Practice, practice.
You have been working hard and it shows. Paint, paint, paint
I love how this one came out with an overall yellow tone. This is your best, yet.
Love the warm golden glow Virginia! Nice monochomatic painting. Cheers and thanks for the comment.
It's a golden painting. Nice yellows. What kind of surface are the apples on?
I agree with all above. Just a lovely work. Be proud!
Caladh, I use a light box I made of gray foam board. I sometimes put different colored papers for a background. This is on colored paper.
I like this direction, Virginia! This one just glows; the apples almost look metallic. BTW, thanks for your kind words regarding my blog. That will make me feel good all day!
Nice monochromatic tone.
Beautiful work Virginia. It's always a treat to visit your blog. You are an inspiration, thank you for sharing. All the best to youJoan
