Golden Apples

This is a little different from my last few posts.  Less fussy.  I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going.  Guess it will just evolve.

  1. La lumière sur vos fruits et l'ombre sont bien travaillés. J'aime votre assiduité.

  2. You keep getting better, Virginia. Sorry if I've said that to you before but every time I come to your blog, that's the first thing I think!! LOVING the softer edges and light to shadow transitions. The painting before this has a wonderful feeling too-- the purple in the shadows makes it all the more interesting!!

  4. Diane, I LOVE that you think I'm getting better! I don't mind if you repeat yourself! It's a long process and sometimes discouraging. Practice, practice.

  8. It's a golden painting. Nice yellows. What kind of surface are the apples on?

  10. Caladh, I use a light box I made of gray foam board. I sometimes put different colored papers for a background. This is on colored paper.
